This ridgetop home is nestled into the terrain rather than protruding from it. The original 1970 home on the site was lost to a brush fire in 1981. The new (2003) home is built using all non-combustible materials and even has an exterior fire sprinkler system on the roof. The home survived the Wonderland fire one year after its completion with no damage.
